Mojo Music & Media Appoints Lisa Macy Senior Vice President, Creative

New York, NY,  May 15, 2019 — The global music publishing, brand and legacy marketing company, Mojo Music & Media, has appointed veteran sync executive Lisa Macy to the newly created position of Senior Vice President (SVP) Creative. It was announced today by company co-founder and CCO Pete Shane.

Among Macy’s primary responsibilities will be promoting the company’s diverse catalog for licensing in the areas of film, television, advertising, trailers, promos, video games and new media.  She will also cultivate opportunities for Mojo songwriters to compose and score music for a range of media projects, help develop brand and legacy initiatives and identify and bring promising new writers and catalogs to the roster.  Macy will report directly to Shane.

A 24-year industry veteran, Macy has had successful multi-year stints in the Film & Television departments of several major record labels, including Atlantic, Warner Brothers, Sony/BMG and Capitol/EMI. Highlights of her career include placements in acclaimed films including Dangerous Minds, Spider-Man, Sideways, Blue Crush, What Happens In Vegas and Elf, as well as placements in such defining television shows as The OC, One Tree Hill, Smallville, Grey’s Anatomy, Lost, Entourage, 6 Feet Under and The Wire. In 2011, she segued to music publishing when hired by Shane to serve as VP Film & Television at Spirit Music Group. Her prolific work at Spirit touched on all media, including strategic placements in such box-office winners as Pitch Perfect 1 & 2, Minions, Ghostbusters, Girls Trip and Wine Country; film trailers for Spiderman: Into The Spiderverse, Kingsmen 2, and Batman v Spiderman; and licensing to popular television series’ such as Breaking Bad, The Blacklist, This Is Us, The Goldbergs, Mr. Robot and Law & Order: SVU. Macy’s impressive repertoire in national advertising spans campaigns for Lincoln Mercury, The Gap, Apple, Pontiac, Nordstrom and JC Penney and such top video games as FIFA, NHL, MLB, Madden, Need For Speed and Grand Theft Auto.
